Academic History
We had to do a synthesis and reflection paper in our CapStone coures this week where we reflected on the courses we've taken, why we've taken then, and what we hope to do with what we've taken from those classes in our future plans. This got me thinking about a discussion topic for this week.
What interdisciplinary connections have you been able to make between your various classes? Can you provide examples?

ReplyDeleteMy areas are Humanities and Behavioral & Social Sciences and Writing is my minor. Maybe interdisciplinary is not the term I am looking for but I consider writing to be a great foundation because it is used in so many subjects.
ReplyDeleteWriting is a method to record and teach information and knowledge. I learn from written text and use writing in all of my classes.
Last semester I took a Women's Studies class and a Philosophy class based on the theory of the "good life." I believe both can be tied to BSS disciplines like Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, etc.
